For Pre-primary depending on the location, the objective will to develop-

Q:How will the students be transported to and from the destination?

AC buses will be arranged at central point/s based on the location for pick up and drop. The locations will be shared and based on your convenience, students will have to be dropped and picked.

Q:What are the specific activities and attractions planned for the day trip?

Q:How long will the day trip last?

  • It normally varies between 3 to 8 hours as per the Grade level. Details will be shared after the announcement of Day Trips.

    Every trip will be accompanied by an experienced crew member. Details related to the SPOC will be made available to you closer to the date of the trips.

    Q:Are there any specific items or clothing that students need to bring?

    For day trips the School T-shirt (if received) or a Navy blue T-shirt should be worn during the trip.Wearing the School ID Card is mandatory.

    Meals will be provided during the trip. The number of meals will depend on the duration of the trip.

    Q:Will any additional costs or fees be associated with the day trip?

    Every day trip will incur a minimal cost inclusive of food, travel, entry tickets etc. No additional costs need to be paid over and above the mentioned cost.

    Q:What are the safety measures in place during the day trip?

    A safety policy detailing all measures will be shared closer to the trip. Every trip will have facilitators/Coordinators/ Principals accompanying for the trip.

    Q:What is the student-to-staff ratio during the day trip?

    For every 10 students, one facilitator will be accompanying students on the trip Is the day trip mandatory, or can students opt-out if necessary? The objective of the day trip is to encourage social interaction, interpersonal skills and bonding amongst the students. While the trip is optional, we encourage you to send your child as this would be a chance to connect and bond with students across the country.

    Q:What happens in the event of bad weather or unforeseen circumstances?

    Depending on the Advisory, the decision will be taken. In case the trip is cancelled the amount will be refunded as per Refund policy.

    Q:How will communication with parents be maintained during the day trip?

    A SPOC number will be shared with Parents. Parents will be updated intermittently during the trip through Whatsapp texts, pictures will also be shared.

    Q:Will students have free time to explore independently during the day trip?

    The idea is for students to connect and bond with each other. All the activities are planned to ensure students spend quality time with each other. We strictly prohibit students from venturing independently, as it is the school’s responsibility to ensure safety measures.

    Q:Are there any specific medical or health requirements for participating in the day trip?

    • Yes, students should be medically fit. In case of a medical condition,prior information needs to be shared with detailed instructions pertaining to the concern and medication.The information has to be shared with the class teacher.
    • All details pertaining to the condition, along with the prescription, need to be mentioned in the consent form.

    Q:What is the cancellation and refund policy for the day trip?

    Details of the Refund Policy are included in the consent form which will be shared when you register for the trip.

    Q:Is there a dedicated emergency contact person available during the day trip?

    We will have dedicated hospitals and doctors, who will be identified for each location during the trips. The SPOC and the Coordinator for the event, Ms. Venus Pahwa, whose details will be shared shortly, will be the contact persons during the trip.

    Q:Will there be restroom facilities available during the day trip?

    Depending on the duration of the trip, regular stops will be made with washroom breaks for students during the trips.<

    Q:Are there any specific guidelines for photography or videography during the day trip?

    Students will be responsible for all devices i.e. cell phones, tabs, cameras, power banks etc. carried by them. The school will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to the devices. No accompanying crew member will be asked to hold/manage the devices on behalf of the students.

    Q:Are the children permitted to carry money with them?

    Children may carry an amount between Rs 500 - 1000 in case they want to buy anything along the way. The responsibility of the money, however, lies with the students. The Crew will not be responsible or liable for any loss of money.

    Q:Are there any age restrictions or grade-level limitations for participation in the day trip?

    Trips are planned as per grades. Details of the location and age groups are made available on the website.

    Q:Can parents or guardians accompany their children on the day trip?

    Parents of Nursery and KG1 students are requested to accompany the children. KG2 parents may accompany their children, however, it is optional.

    Q: How will student medications or special dietary needs be managed during the day trip?

    Instructions pertaining to diet or medication need to be shared with the SPOC’s in detail and in advance. Your request will definitely be catered to provided it is a feasible option. In case we are unable to provide, we will meet with you to arrive at a favourable decision.

    Q:Where will the two nights three days trip take place?

    We have planned Two domestic trips, one to the North and the other to the South, for students from Grades 5 - 12. For students to avail themselves and enjoy both options, we have scheduled them in August and January respectively. The trip in August will be to Chennai-Pondicherry-Mahabalipuram, whereas the trip in January will be announced later. Details and itineraries of the trips will be available on the website.

    Q:How will transportation be arranged for the trip's duration?

    Students will be commuting in an AC bus across the trip.

    Q:Is the excursion amount inclusive of interstate travel?

    Flight tickets from your respective city to the pick up destination will have to be borne by the parent. The school will support you with the booking, on request.

    No. The objective of the trip is for students to bond and connect with each other. Having parents on the trip may prove a bit stifling for students, hence parents are discouraged

    At our school, our primary goal is to foster independence in children. We aim to empower them to take responsibility for their belongings, dress themselves, and eat meals independently. While we encourage self-sufficiency, we also assure students that we are always ready to offer assistance and support whenever they require it.

    Q:Are there any limitations on the number of students participating in the trip?

    Yes, we need to maintain a certain number to ensure smooth operations and management. Currently, we are aiming for a minimum of 20 students for each trip.

    Our team comprising of facilitators and senior leaders, with the experience of managing trips, will be accompanying the students

    As of now there are no specific requirements for vaccinations. However, in case of a requirement guidelines will be provided before the trip.

    Since we have a heterogenous group, research projects may be a challenge this year. The objective this year is for our students to connect and bond while they explore and enjoy the beautiful city, which has a lot to offer.

    • All students participating in the international trip must abide by the existing rules and regulations of 21K School, including the code of conduct, dress code, and disciplinary policies.
    • Respectful behaviour towards fellow students, 21K School Facilitators, locals, and property is always expected. Bullying, harassment, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated.
    • Students must comply with all applicable laws of the destination country. Engaging in illegal activities or behaviours potentially harming themselves or others is strictly prohibited.

    • Students must follow all safety instructions provided by the trip organisers and accompanying 21K School Facilitators.
    • Students should remain in designated safe areas and avoid dangerous behaviours.
    • Students should promptly report any safety concerns or incidents to the trip organisers or accompanying 21K School Facilitators.
    • It is essential to stay with the group and avoid risky situations.

    • Students must be punctual and attend all scheduled activities, including educational sessions, sightseeing tours, and meetings.
    • Absences must be communicated to the trip organisers or accompanying 21K School Facilitators.
    • Students must adhere to designated curfew times. Attendance will be taken regularly to ensure the safety and accountability of all participants.

    • Students must remain supervised by the designated trip organisers and accompanying 21K School Facilitators.
    • Students should stay within designated group boundaries and follow the established protocols for group movements.

    • Students are responsible for their personal belongings and valuables. It is recommended to keep essential items secured and not leave them unattended. The school will not be held liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
    • Students must maintain cleanliness and respect the rules and regulations of the accommodation facilities. Any damages caused by a student's misconduct will be the student's and their parent's responsibility.
    • The consumption or possession of alcohol, drugs, or tobacco products by students is strictly prohibited during the international trip, regardless of the legal age limits of the destination country.

    • Students should adhere to the rules regarding using electronic devices established by the trip organisers and accompanying 21K School Facilitators.
    • The use of electronic devices may be restricted during certain activities or times, as determined by the trip organisers.

    • Students requiring medication during the trip should inform the organisers and carry the necessary medications.

    • Students should actively participate in group activities, excursions, workshops, and educational programs organised by the school. They should adhere to the instructions provided by the accompanying 21K School Facilitators and follow the designated schedules.
    • Respect personal space and maintain appropriate behaviour within the group.

    • Students should familiarise themselves with the emergency procedures the accompanying 21K School Facilitators provides, including evacuation routes, meeting points, and communication protocols in an emergency or natural disaster.
    • Students should stay calm and cooperate with the designated authorities or emergency responders in an emergency.

    • Students should maintain open and respectful communication with trip organisers and accompanying 21K School Facilitators.

    • Violations of the rules and regulations may result in disciplinary action, including being sent back to the home country at the student's and their parent’s expense.
