Have more questions?

There is no doubt that online schooling is fast becoming a mainstream schooling option. Over 94% of learners registered with 21K School have switched from physical school to our online learning platform. This is due to the many benefits that our platform offers in terms of learning outcomes and value for money. Today, most parents have chosen 21K School as their preferred choice of schooling for their children.

We also welcome learners who require flexible and/or personalised learning. Some of our diverse learners include learners with special needs, English language learners, and gifted and talented learners. Our online platform allows us to customise the learning experience to meet the individual needs of each learner. As a result, more and more learners are choosing 21K School as their preferred choice of online schooling.

21K School is recognised and accredited by different organisations worldwide. We offer a range of curriculums for learners aged 3 to 18, catering to their individual needs and interests.

British Curriculum

21K School is affiliated with the Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE), U.K., for Primary, Lower Secondary, Secondary and Senior Secondary Programmes. It is authorised to offer IGCSE, ‘O’ Levels, AS and A Levels online (Affiliation No. IA702)

21K School is also affiliated and recognised by Pearson Edexcel, the largest awarding organisation in the UK. It is authorised to offer Primary to International Advanced Level Programmes online. (Affiliation number 94883)

Indian curriculum

21K School offers the Early Years curriculum for pre-primary (Nursery, KG1 and KG2). It is aligned to the National Curriculum Framework Of School Education of India from Grades 1-8. It also uses a system based on NIOS for exit-level assessments in Grades 10 and 12, where mark sheets and Pass Certificates are issued by NIOS, an autonomous body under the Government of India. These certificates are at par with CBSE or CISCE Certificates and valid for entry to colleges and universities, including IIT, Medical Colleges and UPSC.

Physical Schools have been around for a long time, and it is only recently that we are starting to see a shift to online schools. None of our 7500+ learners study in a physical school, and over 94% of these learners have switched from physical schools to online schooling. Only 6% of the learners were homeschooled before they registered with 21K.

There are many things to consider when deciding whether or not to send your child to a physical school. Some learners may thrive in a traditional learning environment, while others may prefer the flexibility and customisation that 21K School offers. Both options have merits and demerits, and it's essential to consider what is best for your child before making a decision. Some of the benefits of physical schools include social interaction with other learners and the opportunity to learn hands-on. However, physical schools can be inflexible and expensive and, hence may not be suitable for all learners.

21K School offers an alternative that is more affordable and customisable, making it a better option for families. Whatever you decide, we hope that you choose what is best for your child.

Experiential learning is a hands-on, learner-centered approach to education where learners engage in activities, reflect on their experiences, and apply what they've learned to real-life situations. At 21K School, experiential learning is delivered through a blend of virtual and real-world experiences. Here's how it's implemented:

  • Interactive Classes: Learners participate in live, interactive sessions where they engage in discussions, group work, and problem-solving activities.
  • Project-Based Learning: Learners work on projects that connect theoretical knowledge to real-world applications, encouraging independent research and creativity.
  • Real-World Assignments: Assignments may involve surveys, home experiments, or community-based activities that relate to the curriculum.
  • Reflection and Feedback: Learners reflect on experiences, share insights, and receive constructive feedback.
  • Collaborative Learning: Group activities and discussions promote peer learning and collaboration.

In today's world, screen time is an inescapable part of life for many children. According to the World Health Organization, children aged 3-5 should spend no more than one hour per day on screen time, and primary school children should have no more than 1.5-2 hours. However, not all screen time is detrimental. 21K School's screen time policy ensures that all screen time is supervised by a caring adult and is part of a structured learning process.

This means that learners are not allowed to use social media platforms or gaming apps, and browsing the internet is limited. The only screen time expected is for online classes and related tasks. At the pre-primary level, screen time is managed by adults to provide a human touch to the home-schooling process. Parents are advised to restrict screen time beyond 21K School hours, with detailed guidelines, tips, and counselling support provided.

There are many benefits of schooling through 21K. Primarily, the key benefits are:

The Indian Curriculum adheres to the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) and promotes competency-based learning. It integrates Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Habits of Mind (HOM) to develop core life skills.

Special emphasis is placed on core subject mastery in Mathematics, Science, and Humanities, balancing theoretical knowledge with practical application.

The British Curriculum follows the Cambridge International approach, emphasizing critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and international perspectives with a focus on creativity and collaboration.

The Indian Curriculum, by contrast, is centered on academic mastery and competency development with a strong emphasis on core subjects and skill acquisition.

Both curriculums employ a combination of formative and summative assessments. The Indian Curriculum focuses on competency development and project work, while the British Curriculum uses multiple methods to support inquiry-based and thematic studies.
