The 21K School Experiential Learning Centre presents an exciting, hands-on Summer Camp 2025 designed to spark curiosity and innovation in young minds! This program introduces students to the world of electronics, automation, robotics, and 3D printing, equipping them with practical STEM skills through interactive projects and real-world applications.

No prior experience? No problem! Our structured sessions ensure every student, regardless of their background, gains valuable engineering and technology skills, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

Physical Computing for Beginners (Grade 1 to 4)

Physical Computing for Beginners

Duration & Schedule

  • 10 hours (1-hour sessions spread across multiple days)
  • Batch 1 - April 28 to May 02, Monday to friday 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
  • Batch 2 - May 04 to May 08, Monday to friday 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM
  • Location: 21K School Experiential Learning Centre
  • Capacity: 10 participants per batch
  • Fee: INR 4000 per participant + 18% GST

Plug-and-Play Electronics

  • Learn about LEDs, resistors, buzzers, and motors
  • Build simple plug-and-play electronic projects like light-up cards and alarms
  • Understand the basics of electricity and circuits
  • Develop creativity and problem-solving skills
  • Learn how to use a breadboard for building circuits
  • Work with resistors, switches, transistors, and sensors
  • Understand series and parallel circuits
  • Build simple circuits using IC 555
  • Get a first look at Arduino microcontrollers

Bringing Ideas to Life with 3D Design!

  • Learn 3D design software (Tinkercad)
  • Create digital models and convert them into printable objects
  • Understand 3D printing materials and methods
  • Print custom-designed 3D objects

Outcome

Students will build circuits and 3D models, apply design concepts, and solve real-world problems through hands-on, creative challenges.

Introduction to Smart Systems & Automation!

  • Explore automation concepts and real-world applications
  • Learn Arduino programming to control devices
  • Build mini home automation projects such as smart lights and motorized gates
  • Understand sensors and actuators in automation
  • Learn to use a multimeter to measure current and voltage levels
  • Understand how rechargeable battery capacity works
  • Learn soldering

Outcome

Students will create working automation projects and understand how smart systems operate. They will build a project integrating multiple sensors and actuators with Arduino to solve a real-world problem.

  • Get hands-on with Arduino programming for robotics
  • Build a simple obstacle-avoiding robot
  • Explore real-world robotics applications

Outcome

Students will design, build, and program a functional robot. They will create a line-following robot using Arduino with IR sensors and an obstacle-avoiding car using an ultrasonic sensor.

  • Explore IoT, microcontrollers, and embedded systems
  • Work on home automation projects integrating sensors, actuators, microcontrollers, and relays
  • Learn to build a mobile application using MIT App Inventor to control AC appliances connected to Wifi
  • Learn Arduino programming and soldering
  • Develop design-thinking and real-world problem-solving skills
  • Collaborate on group engineering challenges

Outcome

Students will develop and present a home automation project that switches AC appliances on and off via a mobile app, preparing them for real-world engineering challenges.
